About the Role:
Acter Group USA Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Senior HVAC & MEP Project Manager to lead and oversee the execution of complex mechanical, electrical, and piping (MEP) infrastructure and advanced cleanroom projects across Texas and the United States. In this role, you will act as a key leadership core, bridging global cutting-edge tech-facility methodologies with local engineering execution. You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle—from pre-construction planning, budgeting, and value engineering to coordinating with top-tier specialty subcontractors, ensuring compliance with strict safety and quality standards.
The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in large-scale industrial HVAC, process piping, or cleanroom environments (such as semiconductor, biopharma, or advanced manufacturing sectors), combined with an exceptional ability to manage client relations and drive cross-functional alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Execution & Leadership: Oversee full-lifecycle EPCM project execution for advanced technology facilities, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to contract specifications.
Subcontractor & Resource Management: Screen, select, and manage specialty subcontractors (MEP, HVAC, cleanroom) and coordinate resource allocation effectively without local direct labor.
Technical & Budget Control: Lead value engineering efforts, review MEP/HVAC design drawings, manage project estimation, scheduling, cost control, and change orders.
Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and engineering partners, delivering transparent reporting and fostering collaborative relationships.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5–8 years of proven project management experience in heavy MEP, commercial HVAC, or high-tech cleanroom construction (Semiconductor, CDMO/Biopharma, or Data Center experience is a major plus).
Strong understanding of Texas building codes, OSHA regulations, and local permitting processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills; P.E. (Professional Engineer) or PMP certification is highly preferred.
